SWGGA Zoom Meeting on Thursday the 16th

Once again we have experienced the vagaries in our COVID way of life. A little explanation might be helpful.

Over two months ago Programs Coordinator Peter Willcox and President David Blitstein set up a field trip to the Baker Family Winery in West Sacramento. The winemaker there is Chik Brenneman who you may remember was an excellent Zoom presenter back in April. All was set for the SWGGA Picnic in late August, and that had to be cancelled. The suspicion of having to cancel the field trip loomed even before we could get out the news about it. And it was, due to the overwhelming responses from many members who are not comfortable with in-person meetings as yet.

So, it has been decided, in order to keep in contact with the SWGGA membership, there will be a Zoom meeting on September 16th at 7:00 PM. This will be a casual meeting with general discussions, Q & A about wine and grapes, harvest, crush, or anything else you’d like to discuss. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy.

We’d especially like to see our new members attend and tell us a little about themselves.

I hope you can all make it. The Zoom invitation will be sent, on the 14th and the 16th so you can’t miss it.
