September Meeting at Red Paw Vineyard
We are meeting at Diane Houston’s Red Paws Vineyard in Chicago Park on Thursday, September 15th at 6 PM. Pizza and salad will be provided. We ask that you let us know in advance that you’re coming; and that you cough up $5 per person as a copay. Pay at the door, but, you must RSVP! We’ll send the address and directions before the 12th.

A little bit about Red Paws Vineyard: From her ginormous Semillon vines or the blanket of Cabernet she sees from her kitchen window every day. Diane is encompassed by grapevines. Perfect for vineyard talk. From the history of the vineyard, the ruinous spring frosts, the ongoing battle with Eutypa, and the new nursery going forward, Diane will offer a view into her world as a vigneron. She expects to have Zin and Cab still hanging in mid-September so you might even be able to taste some ripe grapes.
