October Meeting on the 27th at Ponderosa Hall
Does that taste sweet?
The focus at our October SWGGA meeting will be upon residual sugar (RS) and acidity (TA). Residual sugar is what is left after fermentation has completed, and when you taste sweet in wine, this is what you’re tasting. We will taste and rate several wines, both white and red, for both RS and acidity. They will range from dry to slightly sweet to a bit more.
The meeting will be at Ponderosa Hall on the Nevada County Fairgrounds (Gate 2), Thursday, October 27th, at 7:00 p.m. And, be sure to bring extra glasses for the tasting… also bring a bottle of your favorite to share.
