October is for Corks
Our presenter for October will be Russ Warren of ACIC Cork & Closures. He’s extremely experienced in the world of corks, and is entertaining as well. You may change your attitude about something we sometimes take for granted. His background:
My cork adventure began at an early age and has grown into a 30+ year passion. It has been fascinating to observe and participate in the evolution of an industry now utilizing the latest technologies to produce a cleaner and more neutral product. I’ve been fortunate enough to meet with major producers of cork stoppers in Portugal, Italy, Spain and France to learn their process from forest to bottle. Our product, not unlike yours, is grown and cared for over time, seasoned and aged, then crafted to create the finest closures on the market.
