Sierra Wine & Grape Growers Association
SWGGA Commercial Members
In addition to our home winemakers and vineyardists, we are fortunate to have commercial members as part of the Sierra Wine & Grape Growers Association. They are supportive of our programs, our scholarship fund and other events, and we ask that you support them, as well. Click on their logo to go to their website.
Located near Nevada City, Double Oak Winery and Vineyard is owned and operated Bob and Ginny Hilsman who make a variety of fine wines. They have maintained membership in SWGGA longer than any other members and have continued to support our various events and programs for over 30 years.
Having gone from home winemaker to a successful commercial operation, Guy Lauterbach has established Gray Pine Winery and Vineyard in Penn Valley as a producer of fine wines, and continues to be actively involved in SWGGA.
The Chacewater Winery and Olive Mill has been owned and operated by the Manuel family since 1988, with facilities near Nevada City and Kelseyville. Truly a family business, their roots in Nevada County go back to 1880, and their name derives from ancestors from Chacewater, Cornwall England.
John Lyon, a highly involved member of SWGGA, took over the reigns of Sierra Moonshine Homebrew and Winemaking Supply a few years ago and caters to the needs of home winemakers and beer, mead and ale brewers from his well-stocked store in Grass Valley.
Lucero Vineyards & Winery, located in Dobbin, is owned by Dan and Marian Lucero on family owned property dating back to 1906. They have been long-time supportive members of SWGGA. Visit them in Dobbin.
The Brew House Supply, a winery and brewery supply company, owned and operated by SWGGA member Patrick O’Hara, specializes in supplying all things needed for making beer and wine, including scheduled classes in brewing and winemaking. They’re located just off Highway 49 in Auburn.
